HeartBEAT Happy Cardio Class
Length - 1 hour
Description:
Certified Personal Trainer Liz Saunders offers this 1 hour live streaming/interactive & lively interval fitness class focusing on cardiovascular health, balance, range of motion and agility.
This entire class consists of alternating 4 MINUTE CARDIO INTERVALS:
4 minutes holding 2 lb. weights with cardio (aerobic) moves
4 minutes of Tabata (20 seconds work/10 seconds rest)
PLEASE PACE YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY.
As always, you can modify as needed.
All levels welcome!
For EACH CLASS, you should have available:
- 2 pound weights (to be held for 4 minute cardio intervals)
- Water & sweat towel! (move at your own pace...but it's a sweaty one!)
- Lightweight sturdy chair for balance training and/or chair (bench) assisted exercises.
- Mat or carpeted area for floor work (can be modified to chair if needed)
- Wall area clear of obstacles (for wall sits, modified push ups, etc.).
- Weights – various sizes each class to be used for body weight exercises (lunges, squats, etc.).
- EACH class consists of familiar moves in different sequences & combinations.
