This class is held in person at the Gus Canty Community Center at 790 Main Street, Falmouth 02540 (across from Dairy Queen)
We will be in the first room on the left after you enter the front door (multipurpose room).
SPACE is LIMITED due to the room size.

Dates are Mondays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM in April & May (6 class series, note *skip dates)

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
We will be using chairs for your "barre" and you will need to bring water, a mat, weights and consider what you want to wear on your feet (bare feet, yoga socks, dance sandals).  It is suggested to be able to grip the floor and work the muscles in your toes and feet, naturally (vs wearing shoes).

Barre Fusion class is an active class for ages 18+ with energetic choreographed routines moving in all directions, standing at a chair back, working with weights and (mat) floorwork.  
3 sections – 
  • #1). 30 minutes of movement and body strength training to upbeat music standing at a chair back or center floor. It incorporates specific sequencing patterns and isometric movements that target specific muscle groups. This pattern of exercise helps to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and posture. 2 lb weights are needed.  
  • #2). 15 minutes of upper body strength with dumbbells. Bring your own weights.  
  • #3). 15 minutes of floor work on mat (abs/glutes/stretch). Instructor is Liz Saunders, certified Barre Above Instructor & certified personal trainer. Bring a mat, water, different size weights (2 lb weights are needed) – yoga socks/bare feet/dance sandals.
